Description: Insect-borne prokaryote-associated diseases are seriously affecting the trade and import of agricultural products and materials worldwide. Lethal yellowing in palms and yellows in grapevines, due to the presence of ‘Candidatus Phytoplasma’ species, and huanglongbing in citrus due to ‘Candidatus Liberibacter’ species, are severe infectious diseases that have been recently described, and for their effective, efficient and sustainable management there is the need to fill important knowledge gaps.
In order to increase and strengthen the control strategies available, the Tropicsafe project addresses these diseases focusing on tropical and subtropical areas in nine different regions of Africa, America, Caribbean and Europe.

Description: The objective of IPMWORKS is to promote the adoption of IPM strategies, based on a EU-wide network of farmers, who will both progress further in the adoption of IPM and demonstrate to other farmers that low reliance on pesticides with better pest control, reduced costs and enhanced profitability. IPMWORKS will coordinate existing networks promoting IPM and launch new hubs of farms in regions or sectors where IPM pioneers are not yet engaged in a relevant network. Advisors coordinating hubs will have a major role in facilitating knowledge sharing, coaching farmers to find their own IPM solutions.

Description: The main objective of SoildiverAgro is the adoption of new management practices and farming systems that improve the genetic and functional biodiversity of the soil in order to reduce the use of external inputs while increasing crop production and quality, the provision of ecosystem services and the stability and resilience of EU agriculture.
- MiniStor H2020
Description: Minimal Size Thermal and Electrical Energy Storage System for In-Situ Residential Installation
- ROADMAP H2020
Description: The European project ROADMAP fosters transitions towards prudent antimicrobial use (AMU) in animal production.
ROADMAP sets up innovative approaches within a transdisciplinary and multi-actor perspective to engage with animal health professionals, stakeholders and policy-makers. It analyses the socio-economic drivers of AMU, develops tailored strategies for change and proposes transition scenarios in diverse farm animal production systems in Europe and low and middle income countries.
Description: Conserval is a collaborative project between Spain and Portugal which aims to develop technologies for the recovery of by-products and waste water from the canning sector in Galicia and Northern Portugal. Description: ECOVAL proposes a new approach for the management of urban organic waste that has a lower environmental impact and promotes the circular economy, thanks to the conversion of waste into resources.
The project will promote the biofactory model, replicable throughout the European Union, to obtain bio-products with high added value from sewage sludge and urban bio-waste.
Description: FirePoctep is a project designed to address the challenges of adaptation to climate change and its associated risks and disasters between the neighbouring border regions of Spain and Portugal, two of the European countries most affected by major forest fires according to the EFFIS data. It aims to develop functional disaster management systems, favouring development between the two countries, enabling the strengthening of forest fire prevention and suppression systems and improving resources for rural employment generation in the aftermath of the Covid-19 health crisis.
Description: A precision viticulture service project based on IoT sensor networks for SMEs digital transformation within the SUDOE area
